Logan Mark - Born January 13th

Hey all,

Just making a quick post while I am home spending some time with Brennon. Logan Mark was born yesterday at 8:50 pm. He weighed an amazing 11 lbs. 5 oz. and was 22 inches long. Both Desiree and Logan are doing fine.

Brennon Aloysius - Adventures in the Snow!

We began by getting dressed. This was a long process but Brennon was in high spirits, until....






















We got outside... not sure he knew quite what to make of it. But the last thing he found it was fun. Maybe we need another year under our belt before playing in the snow will be exciting.

Logan Mark - Update

Well Desiree and I went to the doctor's office yesterday. They did an ultrasound, working on scanning it now. They estimated Logan at 10 lbs 1 once... Thus they were a bit concerned about letting Desiree go full term, she is due next Friday. So they consulted with her doctors and they decided they wanted to induce her no later then Tuesday.

So we have the weekend to see what is going to happen. We are hoping she will be able to start labor naturally before Tuesday. If not they are going to induce her at 7am on Tuesday. Tuesday happens to be the 13th, Brennon was born on October 13th.

I have a bunch of new pictures to post, just trying to find the time with watching Brennon and the job hunt still going on. I will get to them soon.

Benjamin David - Update

Hey all,

As most of you know I was interviewing for a job in Fort Wayne. We found out yesterday that I did not get the job. So the job hunt continues. We are doing fine, just needing to tighten the belt another notch. We are disappointed but still hopeful that something will come along.

We still have a few things up our sleeves, and we have each other which is the most important thing.

Classic "I told you so" moment

So today after Brennon's morning nap I took him into his room to get changed. I undressed him out of his PJs and took off his diaper. I decided to give him some naked time and sent him out of the room to find mommy. He walked down the hall and I hear from Des "Do I see a naked boy?" I then here her say "Ben! at least put a diaper on him." As she realized she truely did see a naked boy. I reply with the classic dad line "He will be fine." To which she answers "He is going to pee on the floor."

I then come in the room from Brennon's room to find him peeing on the step down into the computer room... I pick him up and put him behind Desiree's computer chair, which Des was sitting at. I grab a towel to soak up most of the evidence, and I hear more pee hitting the carpet. I look up to meet Des's eyes with tears in them. She was laughing so hard, and not helping at all.

As I cleaned up the mess I reseved several "I told you so" looks from Desiree, there was no need for her to say a thing.
