Quick Update

Hey all,

Sorry we haven't posted in a while, things have been pretty crazy lately. I have started my new job in Fort Wayne. Desiree and I are currently trying to get a loan to purchase a home in the Fort Wayne area. Our home in Bowling Green has been listed for about a week now, and we have an open house this coming Sunday.

The boys are doing great. Keeping their folks on their toes and running on very little sleep. One quick story that I love...

Desiree went to daycare to pick the boys up and had Logan buckled up in his car seat. One of the other little boys was looking into the car seat at Logan and put his hand on the edge of the car seat. Brennon noticing this walked over and removed the boy's hand from the seat and informed him "My Baby."

The girls at the daycare said that he had done that often just to remind everyone of exactly who Logan belonged to.

Benjamin David - Update

Hey everyone,

I would like to take a second and thank everyone again that has helped and supported Desiree, myself and our family during these tough times. But I come with good news. Starting Monday I will be working for Fort Wayne Metals!

It took some time to work out all the details but we came to an arrangement that will work for everyone. I can't express how much of a relief this is.

Though with all new things there is going to be some adjustment needed. Because this job is in Fort Wayne, IN I will need to commute until we have time to find a place there and sell our home. Thus I will be staying with my folks for part of the week until we get things worked out. This will be a difficult time for Desiree, the boys, and myself. Though we understand it is a means to an end, it won't make the short term any easier.

So again I would like to thank everyone for their support, and we are looking forward to starting a new chapter in our lives.

Michael Boys - Update

Hello Everyone,

Well yesterday we had our first excursion with all four of us. We went to the doctor's office! Brennon had this 15th month checkup and Logan has his 2 week checkup. Here is how they are doing...

Brennon
33 inches tall
24 lbs. 11 oz.

Logan
22 inches tall
10 lbs. 11 oz.

The doctor found both boys to be in great shape and health. Now the trick is to see if Desiree and I can keep up.

Family Update

Hey everyone,

WOW, are we a busy family all of a sudden! Things are going well, everyone is adjusting to Logan being home. Brennon is fussier then normal but we expected that, but for the most part he is doing good. He likes to give baby Logan kisses.

Logan is doing well, his jaundice levels were higher then the doctors liked so we got a "bili-blanket" yesterday. His level yesterday was 17, and after a day of treatment he is down to a 14.4. So luckily for us that means he doesn't need to spend any time in the hospital that we can just continue out patient treatment.

Desiree is doing well, I now have a whole new respect for her. She is an amazing woman, not only giving birth to a baby over 11 lbs. but she is so great with both Brennon and Logan. I am a lucky man.

I am working on getting some pictures up, hopefully later today!

Logan Mark - Born January 13th

Hey all,

Just making a quick post while I am home spending some time with Brennon. Logan Mark was born yesterday at 8:50 pm. He weighed an amazing 11 lbs. 5 oz. and was 22 inches long. Both Desiree and Logan are doing fine.

Brennon Aloysius - Adventures in the Snow!

We began by getting dressed. This was a long process but Brennon was in high spirits, until....






















We got outside... not sure he knew quite what to make of it. But the last thing he found it was fun. Maybe we need another year under our belt before playing in the snow will be exciting.

Logan Mark - Update

Well Desiree and I went to the doctor's office yesterday. They did an ultrasound, working on scanning it now. They estimated Logan at 10 lbs 1 once... Thus they were a bit concerned about letting Desiree go full term, she is due next Friday. So they consulted with her doctors and they decided they wanted to induce her no later then Tuesday.

So we have the weekend to see what is going to happen. We are hoping she will be able to start labor naturally before Tuesday. If not they are going to induce her at 7am on Tuesday. Tuesday happens to be the 13th, Brennon was born on October 13th.

I have a bunch of new pictures to post, just trying to find the time with watching Brennon and the job hunt still going on. I will get to them soon.
